Frequently Asked Questions

What does "capacity" glass mean?

A capacity glass is approved and marked under weights and measures (trade measurement) rules for its stated volume. That means you can use it to sell draught beer by that measure.

How many glasses are in a carton?

This listing is for a carton of 48 glasses. The price is per carton.

What size is it?

It holds 285 ml, stands 130 mm high and measures 70 mm across at the rim. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

How should I clean and look after it?

Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.

What does the nucleated base do?

A nucleated base has a small etched mark inside the bottom of the glass. It releases a steady stream of fine bubbles, helping the beer hold its head and aroma for longer.
