Trenton Madrid Soup Spoon 170mm

The Trenton Madrid Soup Spoon is a round-bowled spoon for soups, broths, chowders and other dishes served in a bowl. It is made from 18/0 stainless steel with a mirror polish all over (handles, bowls, tines and blades). It measures 170mm long.

Madrid is a solid, shapely contemporary pattern with a sculpted handle that feels substantial in the hand. 18/0 stainless steel is a hard-wearing, cost-effective choice for busy venues that go through a lot of cutlery, and it stands up well to daily commercial washing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Madrid soup spoon used for?

Use it for soups, broths and chowders. The rounder bowl makes it easier to sip from than a dessert spoon.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, it is made for commercial dishwashers. To keep the finish looking its best, avoid long soaks in strong detergent, do not leave it sitting wet, and dry or rack it promptly after the wash cycle. Pre-soak in warm water rather than bleach-based products.

What other pieces are in the Madrid range?

The Madrid range covers the main pieces for a full place setting, including knives, forks and spoons in table and dessert sizes, plus teaspoons and specialty pieces. Check the matching items on our website or ask our team for the full list.

How do I stop water spots and marks on stainless cutlery?

Use a rinse aid, avoid overloading the cutlery baskets so the water can drain, and polish with a clean, dry cloth while the cutlery is still warm. Sorting by type handle-down in the cutlery cylinders also helps it dry evenly.

How many should I order?

A common rule of thumb is two to three times your seating capacity for each piece you use every service, so you have a set on the table, one in the wash and one in reserve. Talk to our team and we can help you work out quantities for Madrid.
