Arcoroc Empilable Stackable Glass Bowl 260 mm

The Arcoroc Empilable bowl is a clear, fully tempered glass bowl 260 mm across, holding approximately 4.3 L to the brim. It is a versatile size for large salads, buffet displays and mixing, and it works just as well in the prep kitchen for mixing, marinating and holding mise en place.

Empilable means stackable in French, and these bowls nest neatly so they take up little shelf space. Tempered glass is stronger than ordinary glass, stands up to commercial dishwashers and is microwave safe, and the clear glass shows off the food inside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it tougher than normal glass?

Yes. Fully tempered glass is heat treated to be stronger and more resistant to knocks than ordinary glass.

Can it go in the microwave?

Yes. It is microwave safe, which is handy for warming sauces and portions.

Can it go in the oven?

No. Use it for serving, prep, chilling and microwave use, not in a conventional oven.

Does it stack with other sizes?

Each size stacks with itself, and the different sizes nest together as a set.

Is the capacity filled to the top?

Yes. Approx. 4.3 L is the brimful capacity, so the practical serving volume is a little less.
