The Hoshizaki IM-240XNE-28 is a modular ice making head that produces up to 205 kg of hard, clear, slow-melting large cubes a day (at 21°C air and 15°C water). It is built for high-volume venues and sits on top of a separate Hoshizaki storage bin, which is sold separately.
Each cycle makes about 3.2 kg (140 cubes of 28 x 28 x 32 mm). A closed water circuit with individual jets for each cell and automatic rinse cycles helps limit scale, and electronic controls keep production steady as conditions change. It is air-cooled with a stainless steel exterior and measures 1084 x 700 x 500 mm.

No. It is a modular head that sits on a separate Hoshizaki bin. Ask us and we will match a bin to suit your volume.
How much ice will it really make?
Up to 205 kg a day at 21°C air and 15°C water. On hot days with warm water (32°C air, 21°C water) expect about 160 kg.
Why large cubes?
Large, hard cubes melt slowly, so drinks stay cold without watering down.
What does installation need?
A cold water supply, a drain and a 10 A power outlet, with good airflow around the machine. Fit a water filter to suit your water.
How do I keep it clean?
Follow the manufacturer cleaning and sanitising schedule, keep the air filter or condenser clean, and use the right water filter for your water supply. Regular cleaning keeps ice clear and the machine running efficiently.
