Roband Square Glass Refrigerated Food Bar 10 x 1/2 GN Pans, Piped & Foamed for Remote Refrigeration, Rear Roller Doors SFX25RD

The Roband SFX25RD is a square glass refrigerated food bar supplied piped and foamed for remote refrigeration. It holds 10 half-size gastronorm pans and measures 1680 mm wide, 615 mm deep and 750 mm high, making it a good fit for built-in servery counters where the refrigeration plant is kept out of the way.

The cabinet has the cold plate and cross fin coil, digital thermostat, thermometer and light already fitted, but no refrigeration unit or cage. A refrigeration mechanic connects it to a remote or central system on site, which keeps heat and noise out of the serving area. Rear roller doors are fitted as standard. Made in Australia by Roband.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it need a separate refrigeration install?

Yes. This model is piped and foamed only, with no refrigeration unit or cage. A licensed refrigeration mechanic needs to connect it to a remote or central refrigeration system on site.

What temperature does it hold?

The digital thermostat adjusts between 0 and 8°C. Load it with food that is already chilled; a display bar is designed to hold cold food, not to cool down warm food.

What pans does it take?

It takes 10 half-size gastronorm pans up to 65 mm deep, and a set of 65 mm pans comes with it. You can mix in smaller gastronorm sizes with the right adaptor bars.

How do I clean it?

Remove the pans and cross bars, wipe the well and cold plate with warm water and a mild detergent, and drain through the ball valve. Clean the glass with a non-abrasive cleaner. Your refrigeration mechanic can advise on servicing the remote plant.

Which glass style should I choose?

Roband makes these bars in straight, curved and square glass styles with the same pan layout. Pick the one that matches your counter and any hot food bars beside it so the run looks consistent.
