Smeg Rilsan Coated Wire Glass Basket 400 x 400 mm, 90 mm Max Glass Diameter WB40G02

The Smeg WB40G02 is a 400 x 400 mm glass basket for stemmed glasses for glasswashers that take 400 x 400 mm baskets. The inclined base lets stemware sit at an angle so water drains away and glasses come out clear.

It is made from Rilsan-coated carbon steel wire, a tough nylon coating that protects the steel, is gentle on glassware and stands up to daily commercial washing. Use it to add capacity, replace a damaged basket, or set your machine up for a different load.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my machine?

It suits glasswashers that take 400 x 400 mm baskets. Check your machine model or measure your existing basket, and send us the details if you are unsure.

What is it best for?

Stemmed wine and cocktail glasses. The inclined base holds them at an angle so they drain and dry without spotting.

How do I look after it?

Rinse off food scraps before loading, and check the basket regularly for damage. If the Rilsan coating is chipped, replace the basket so bare steel does not rust or mark your glassware.

Why have extra baskets?

With spare baskets, staff can load the next rack while one is washing, which keeps the machine running and speeds up service.

Is it a genuine Smeg part?

Yes, this is a genuine Smeg foodservice accessory.
