Sammic Vac-Norm Cover GN 1/3 (5140118)

This Sammic Vac-Norm cover fits Sammic Vac-Norm GN 1/3 vacuum containers. With the cover in place, you connect the Sammic external vacuum kit and draw the air out of the container to store liquids and cooked food under vacuum.

Vac-Norm covers only work on Vac-Norm containers, as standard Gastronorm pans will not hold up under vacuum. Spare gaskets and valves are available separately from Sammic.

Will it fit a standard GN pan?

No. Standard GN pans will not hold up under vacuum. Use Vac-Norm containers only.

Can I replace the gasket?

Yes. Sammic sells spare cover gaskets and valves separately.

How do I clean it?

Remove the gasket and wash the cover and gasket in warm soapy water. Dry and refit the gasket before use.
