The Santos #53 ice crusher, supplied by Sammic, crushes 1.2 kg of ice in about 30 seconds, coarse or fine at the press of a button. It suits cocktail bars, juice bars and restaurants that go through a lot of crushed ice, and measures 236 x 353 x 474 mm.
A quiet heavy-duty motor sits in an ABS casing on non-slip rubber feet, with a light over the ice outlet, an ergonomic handle and a removable drip tray. Waterproof electronic controls include overload protection, and the removable parts are dishwasher safe. Made in France by Santos.
