Frequently Asked Questions

What size is it?

It holds 325 ml, stands 198 mm high and measures 62 mm across at the rim. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

What is a standard wine pour?

A standard glass of wine served in Australian venues is commonly 150 ml, with many venues also offering a 250 ml large pour. A bigger bowl leaves space above the pour so the wine can be swirled and the aromas collected.

Is it suitable for red and white wine?

Yes. It is a versatile all-rounder for both red and white wine.

How should I clean and look after it?

Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.

What is the pour line for?

It is marked with a double pour line at 150 ml / 250 ml so staff pour the same amount every time. That keeps serves consistent for guests and keeps your wine costs under control. Check that the marked line matches the serve sizes on your wine list.
