Frequently Asked Questions

What size is it?

It holds 170 ml, stands 215 mm high and measures 47 mm across at the rim. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

Why use a flute for sparkling wine?

The narrow bowl reduces the surface area, so the bubbles last longer and the wine stays fresh and lively in the glass.

Can I use it for cocktails?

Yes. It is great for sparkling cocktails such as a Mimosa, Bellini, French 75 or Aperol-style spritz served short.

How should I clean and look after it?

Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.

Are other Libbey Perception pieces available?

Yes. We stock other pieces from the Libbey Perception range, including the Libbey Perception Tall Goblet 414 ml; the Libbey Perception Wine Glass 325 ml; the Libbey Perception Wine Glass 237 ml. Mixing pieces from one range keeps your table or back bar consistent. Contact us and we can put together the full set you need.
