Frequently Asked Questions

What can I serve in it?

Champagne and sparkling wine, plus short cocktails such as a Daiquiri, Martinez, Clover Club or Espresso Martini. It also works for small desserts.

What size is it?

It holds 163 ml, stands 114 mm high and measures 81 mm across at the rim. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

Can I build a Champagne tower with it?

Saucer-style glasses are the traditional choice for Champagne towers. Use a stable, level base and stack carefully, and practise with water before the event.

How should I clean and look after it?

Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.

Are other Libbey Embassy pieces available?

Yes. We stock other pieces from the Libbey Embassy range, including the Libbey Embassy Brandy Glass 355 ml; the Libbey Embassy Poco Grande Glass 311 ml; the Libbey Embassy Poco Grande Glass 392 ml. Mixing pieces from one range keeps your table or back bar consistent. Contact us and we can put together the full set you need.
