Frequently Asked Questions
What size is it?
It holds 177 ml, stands 149 mm high and measures 108 mm across. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.
Which cocktails suit this glass?
Martinis, Cosmopolitans, Espresso Martinis, Manhattans and other short shaken or stirred cocktails. Larger sizes also work for prawn cocktails and desserts.
How do I keep cocktails cold?
Chill the glass in the fridge or fill it with ice and water while you mix the drink, then tip it out before pouring. A chilled glass keeps the drink colder for longer.
How should I clean and look after it?
Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.
Are other Libbey Citation pieces available?
Yes. We stock other pieces from the Libbey Citation range, including the Libbey Citation Wine Glass 237 ml; the Libbey Citation Champagne Flute 185 ml. Mixing pieces from one range keeps your table or back bar consistent. Contact us and we can put together the full set you need.
