Frequently Asked Questions

What size is it?

It holds 237 ml, stands 171 mm high and measures 73 mm across. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

What is a standard wine pour?

A standard glass of wine served in Australian venues is commonly 150 ml, with many venues also offering a 250 ml large pour. A bigger bowl leaves space above the pour so the wine can be swirled and the aromas collected.

Is it suitable for red and white wine?

Yes. It is a versatile all-rounder for both red and white wine.

How should I clean and look after it?

Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.

Are other Libbey Citation pieces available?

Yes. We stock other pieces from the Libbey Citation range, including the Libbey Citation Martini Glass 177 ml; the Libbey Citation Champagne Flute 185 ml. Mixing pieces from one range keeps your table or back bar consistent. Contact us and we can put together the full set you need.
