Frequently Asked Questions
What size is it?
It holds 185 ml, stands 184 mm high and measures 64 mm across. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.
Why use a flute for sparkling wine?
The narrow bowl reduces the surface area, so the bubbles last longer and the wine stays fresh and lively in the glass.
Can I use it for cocktails?
Yes. It is great for sparkling cocktails such as a Mimosa, Bellini, French 75 or Aperol-style spritz served short.
How should I clean and look after it?
Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.
Are other Libbey Citation pieces available?
Yes. We stock other pieces from the Libbey Citation range, including the Libbey Citation Martini Glass 177 ml; the Libbey Citation Wine Glass 237 ml. Mixing pieces from one range keeps your table or back bar consistent. Contact us and we can put together the full set you need.
