Frequently Asked Questions

What size is it?

It holds 404 ml, stands 217 mm high and measures 82 mm across. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

What is a standard wine pour?

A standard glass of wine served in Australian venues is commonly 150 ml, with many venues also offering a 250 ml large pour. A bigger bowl leaves space above the pour so the wine can be swirled and the aromas collected.

Is it suitable for red and white wine?

Yes. Its generous bowl makes it a great choice for red wines, and it works for full-bodied whites too.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, it is dishwasher safe. To keep it clear and sparkling, avoid thermal shock, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and avoid stacking them inside each other unless they are designed to stack.

What is the pour line for?

It is marked with a pour lines at 150 ml and 250 ml so staff pour the same amount every time. That keeps serves consistent for guests and keeps your wine costs under control. Check that the marked line matches the serve sizes on your wine list.
