Frequently Asked Questions

What size is it?

It holds 227 ml, stands 225 mm high and measures 70 mm across. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

Why use a flute for sparkling wine?

The narrow bowl reduces the surface area, so the bubbles last longer and the wine stays fresh and lively in the glass.

Can I use it for cocktails?

Yes. It is great for sparkling cocktails such as a Mimosa, Bellini, French 75 or Aperol-style spritz served short.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, it is dishwasher safe. To keep it clear and sparkling, avoid thermal shock, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and avoid stacking them inside each other unless they are designed to stack.

Are other Schott Zwiesel Vina pieces available?

Yes. We stock other pieces from the Schott Zwiesel Vina range, including the Schott Zwiesel Vina Burgundy Wine Glass 404 ml; the Schott Zwiesel Vina Goblet 530 ml; the Schott Zwiesel Vina White Wine Glass 290 ml.
