How does the ice insert work?

Fill the insert with ice and place it in the jug. It chills the drink from the inside, so the ice does not melt into the drink and water it down.

How should I clean it?

Hand wash in warm soapy water with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals, which can scratch or cloud acrylic, and do not use very hot water.

Is it unbreakable?

Acrylic is much more resistant to breakage than glass, but it can still crack if dropped from a height or knocked hard.

Can I use it for hot drinks?

No. Acrylic is designed for cold drinks only.
