The KH Khast reversible griddle is a 480 x 260 mm reversible cast iron griddle. Use the flat side for pancakes, eggs and smash burgers and the ribbed side for char lines on steaks and vegetables. It spans two burners for a big cooking area.

KH Khast cast iron is oil-seasoned at the factory with no synthetic coatings, so it is ready to use and builds a better natural non-stick surface the more you cook with it. Cast iron holds heat for a long time, which keeps food hot right through service.

Is it ready to use?

Yes. It comes pre-seasoned. Give it a rinse and a light wipe of oil before first use.

How do I clean it?

Wash with hot water and a brush while it is still warm, dry it straight away on low heat and wipe with a thin coat of oil. Avoid dishwashers and long soaks.

Does it work on induction?

Yes. Cast iron is magnetic, so it works on induction as well as gas and electric. Heat it gradually to avoid stress on the iron.

Can it go in the oven?

Yes. Cast iron handles oven, grill and open-flame use. The handle gets hot, so always use a cloth or handle cover.

What if it rusts?

Scrub off the rust, rinse, dry fully and re-season with a thin coat of oil heated in the oven or on the stove.
