Caterrax Glass Rack Extender 16 Compartment 500 x 500 mm

The Caterrax Glass Rack Extender 16 Compartment 500 x 500 mm is a 16 compartment extender that clips onto a matching 16 compartment rack to make it taller. Add one or more extenders so tall glasses, stemware and highballs are supported along their full height.

Caterrax racks are made from chemical-resistant polypropylene in the standard 500 x 500 mm size, in blue. Racks are the backbone of an efficient wash area: load once, wash, dry and store in the same rack.

How many extenders do I need?

Add enough so the rack walls reach at least two thirds of the way up the glass. Tall stemware may need two or three.

Will it fit my rack?

Made to suit 500 x 500 mm racks. Caterrax extenders are listed as compatible with Cambro Camrack and Carlisle OptiClean racks.

Does the extender go on the top or bottom?

On top of the base rack. The rack base supports the glass rims, and the extender supports the stems or sides.

Will it fit my dishwasher or glasswasher?

It is the standard 500 x 500 mm rack size used by most commercial pass-through and undercounter machines. Check your machine manual if you are unsure.

How do I clean the rack?

Run it through the dishwasher empty now and then, or scrub it in warm soapy water to remove scale and food build-up.
