Frequently Asked Questions

Is it waterproof?

It is water-resistant: the PU face sheds splashes and spills, which you can wipe away. It is not designed for heavy wash-down work, where a PVC apron is the better choice.

How do I clean it?

Wipe clean only. Do not machine wash. Hang it up to dry between shifts.

Can I put it in the washing machine?

No. Machine washing can crack or peel the coating. Wiping it clean is quicker and keeps it in good condition.

What size is it?

It measures 680 x 820 mm, which covers most adults from chest to knee.

Will it protect me from hot oil or chemicals?

It protects your clothes from water, splashes and food mess. It is not personal protective equipment for hot oil or chemicals, so use the PPE listed on the chemical safety data sheet for those jobs.
