Frequently Asked Questions

Why use disposable bouffant hair nets?

Food safety rules require food handlers to take all practicable measures to stop hair from contaminating food. Single-use covers are cheap, hygienic and easy to hand out to staff and visitors.

Can they be re-used?

No. They are designed for single use. Use a fresh one each shift or whenever it becomes soiled or damaged.

How many are in a carton?

Each carton holds 1000.

Do they suit everyone?

The size suits most adults. For long or thick hair, a larger bouffant cover gives the best coverage, and staff with beards should also wear a beard cover.

How should I store them?

Keep the carton closed in a clean, dry area away from food prep, and dispense from the box so unused covers stay clean.
